I have never wanted to be anything else but a vet. My mom tells me stories of myself at 3 years old grabbing horse books and naming every part of a horse that to this day she still cannot name. It has been my dream and my passion my entire life and I am so grateful that I can be a veterinarian every day.

Internal medicine and surgery; I also enjoy working with ruminants (cattle, sheep, and goats) and would love to have a hobby farm someday

I love traveling and have been to seven different countries. I have a rescue cat named Ivy who was found at eight weeks old with multiple leg and tail fractures. She’s seven now and has the cutest bobtail! My favorite way to stay active is weightlifting. My two most unique patients were an adult lion and tiger!
“I have always loved animals and some of my earliest memories are centered around caring for them. Despite this lifelong connection, it wasn’t until my freshman year of college that it clicked in my head that this is what I was meant to do. I was lucky to have a great role model, my aunt, who is also a veterinarian and offered me my first job as a veterinary assistant. I spent my summers learning from her and gaining first hand experience at how rewarding this career can be.
I knew I wanted to be a part of a profession where I was making a difference. I consider myself very lucky to experience that on a daily basis. Veterinary medicine is my passion and I’m excited to continue to learn and grow within this field.”

As a fourth-generation veterinarian, this has always been a part of my life. I elected to join what I consider the best profession in the world with the goal of helping create something better and more sustainable while maintaining the focus on best patient care and a great work culture. Veterinarians are still in the position to be owners of veterinary hospitals and are not all corporately owned. This allows us to focus our efforts and resources where they matter most; the animals, the community, and the growth and well-being of our team that fights for them every day. Along the way, I have been blessed to meet my partner, Dr. Meth, who shared a similar vision and has an even greater passion for the commitment of excellence in patient care. We are extremely grateful that CLT Vets can provide that level of care and work environment for our patients, community, and our work family. I could not be more excited about being a veterinarian in this profession and the future that lies ahead as we continue to serve our community.
